Dual PC Set Up #
Having a dual PC setup has helped me to increase the quality of my stream by offloading the video encoding to the streaming PC so the gaming PC may run games at the highest possible quality settings.
My set up has evolved over the years, but here is my current iteration. I still need to work on my wire management, but having wireless keyboards and mice help to simplify the setup. Having an induction charging mat for my gaming mouse has been a game changer for my set up, especially because I would always forget to charge my mouse.
I really love the ability to use one microphone between the two PCs as well. Finding a microphone that allows for dual output keeps things clean and simple.
Lighting is super important if you choose to use a green screen. I have a few key lights pointed at the wall to help with a more balanced lighting setup, as well as some under desk mounted key lights to get even lighting across the green screen.
Automating the stream is made possible due to my Elgato Streamdecks. The stream just wouldn’t be the same without them.

Here is an example of an older set up that I pieced together.
